Q. How is the product pricing established?
A. Pricing is established by, first, creating a design estimate; second, calculating the amount of
hours that will go into the piece(s); third, guaranteeing a maximum dollar amount.

Q. Where are the furniture pieces created?
A. Designs are created world wide while the furniture is handmade at North Shore, Lake Tahoe.

Q. Can I customize existing designs?
A. YES All designs are created or adapted with client criteria & the appropriate materials.

Q. What materials are available?
A. An extensive list of Exotic Hardwoods is available. In some cases Grace Thomas Design has extremely rare hardwood that is specially stored for our clients. We also have suppliers that have in stock hardwoods they cut as long ago as 1993.

Designer Stephen Dolan, who has been creating fine furniture since 1988, is a formally trained third generation design professional, artist, and founder of two San Francisco Bay Area art galleries, funded in part by the National Endowments for the Arts.

In 1979 Dolan was awarded the coveted exploration, historically sensitive design and renovation of the civil war building, "Mabry Hall" circa 1846. In 1995 he traveled to Germany to renovate the interior of a landmark building in Frankfurt Germany. Since then his imaginative furniture compliments the interior design of lake front homes at Tahoe and estates in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Stephen's art is represented by Vista Gallery, North Shore Lake Tahoe. His paintings, drawings and monotypes are in exclusive private collections worldwide.
